My planespotter plans, news and reports
December 2009
It was about time to have this page updated. Now all videos of this year are online here.
I have decided to reduce my planespotting frequency but there are still three days planned for planespotting:
In december it's dark until 8 a.m. so i want to get a chance to catch the Austrian F70 in darkness at Altenrhein
On saturdays there are some interesting charters from the UK to Bern - Belp airport
And i want to spend a weekend in Innsbruck to catch some small and big charter airplanes in the beautiful scenery of the alps. I'm sure this will be an unforgettable planespotting =)
June / July 2009
I'm staying in Toronto for 8 weeks, so I will surely visit the TORONTO PEARSON INTL AIRPORT.
End of June 2009
I'm going to New York from 26th to 30th June 2009. So I hope to get to at least one airport in the NYC aerea.
Friday, 05th May 2009
This time I went to TORONTO ISLAND AIRPORT.
It seemed to me like Altenrhein just with a shorter runway (1200m / 1500m) more traffic (Many Porter Dash 8-400 but no business jets)... and there were even spots where I hat a fantastic sight where I could use my tripod without being disturbed by the fence. But unfortunately you couldn't go behind the rwy because the ends of the main rwy reach up to 50m away from the lake on both ends. Âltough I lived in the inner city aerea I had 2 to travel for 2 hours! Bus (30min), Underground (30min), walking to the ferry station (15min) and the ferry to the island (25min) plus waiting between the changes of transport. All in all it was a very nice day with no clouds in the sky and lot of beautiful scenery with the TORONTO SKYLINE in the background. Just that I had to wait until 9 p.m. for the ferry.
VIDEOS WILL BE ONLINE IN ABOUT ONE OR TWO WEEKS
